Paris Saint-Germain announced on its official club website of the 28 players selected by manager Thomas Tuchel for the remainder of the UEFA Champions League knockout stage in Libson, Portugal.

There are no major surpises for the squad selection. It is worth noting that Tuchel did add Kylian Mbappe, Marco Verratti and Layvin Kurzawa. All three players have been dealing with injuries. Tuchel has not ruled out any of these three starters for the upcoming bout against Atalanta, so they remain questionable.

Tuchel did select multiple youth talents, including standout forward Arnaud Kalimuendo. He was one of the biggest stock risers on the team over the recent friendly fixtures. If needed, Tuchel could provide Kalimuendo playing time as a late-game substitution. This could be a scenario that the German manager may face considering the multitude of injuries that have plagued the squad as of late.

The upcoming bout against Atalanta is set for August 12 from Portugal.
