According to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly deciding against pursuing a move for Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae (26). Instead, the South Korean international is set for a move to the Premier League.

The main reason behind this decision is believed to be the financial demands associated with the transfer. The Parisian club considers the 24-year-old’s valuation to be too steep, prompting them to explore alternative options in the market. Earlier this month, Manchester United launched their bid to sign the player with a reportedly ‘lucrative’ salary offer on the table.

The former Rennes target was reported to be a target of PSG, with Sergio Ramos’ (36) future (at the time) undecided and Presnel Kimpembe (27) being out for several months with an Achilles’ tear. Instead, PSG are looking at bringing in Bayern Munich left-back Lucas Hernandez, who expressed his desire to seek new challenges, declining a contract extension with the German giants.

PSG view Hernandez as an ideal addition to bolster their defensive line, given his exceptional playing abilities and winning mentality. The club is optimistic about the possibility of securing the services of the World Cup champion, although negotiations with Bayern Munich are expected to be complex.
