Former Chelsea star Joe Cole believes the Blues don’t realise just how good summer signing Joao Pedro actually is.
Chelsea have been busy this summer and Pedro is one of four signings made so far along with Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens, and Jorrel Hato.
Pedro was signed in a deal worth an initial £55m from Brighton and has made a big impact at the club in such a short space of time.
The 23-year-old joined up with the squad for the latter stages of the Club World Cup, and was a huge reason as to why the Blues went on to lift the trophy in New York.

Pedro once again found the net against Bayer Leverkusen on Friday night after coming on as a second half substitute.
With Nicolas Jackson set to leave, Pedro is likely to play most of his minutes at number nine, where he looks set to compete with Delap.
If Pedro can maintain this form throughout the season, Chelsea seemingly have a top player on their hands, and Cole believes they don’t realise how good the Brazilian is.
“He looked like he had been a Chelsea player for years [at the Club World Cup]… He can play centre-forward, he can play off the left, and he can play off the right,” he told TNT Sports.
“I think they probably don’t realise how much of a good player they’ve got. I think there is another level for him to go up.”
With Pedro already through the door and making an impact, the Blues are looking to complete deals for Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.

Chelsea are said to be in negotiations with Leipzig for Simons, but as of yet they haven’t submitted an offer for the Dutch international.
The Blues have agreed personal terms with Garnacho, and the deal is said to be done on the player side, but they now need to agree a fee with Manchester United who are said to want £50m.
