Spurs went down 3-0 to The Blues at Stamford Bridge last weekend but this afternoon’s fixture against Coventry United offers Rehanne Skinner’s side an excellent opportunity to bounce back whilst taking a step forward towards the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup quarter-finals.
Tottenham Hotspur go into the match without long-term absentees Kit Graham, Ria Percival, Kyah Simon and Ellie Brazil. Attackers Ramona Petzelberger and Nikola Karczewska are also likely to be sidelined once again. Rebecca Spencer could be handed a recall in goal for The Lilywhites while there might be a start for Chioma Ubogagu.
Coventry United will not be able to call upon the services of Eleanor Heeps or Esther Morgan with the pair being on loan from Spurs. The Warwickshire club are also set to again be without full-backs Evie Gane and Arabella Suttie.
The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup fixture between Tottenham Hotspur and Coventry United is scheduled to kick-off at 2pm. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
