Swansea City and Hull City go head-to-head at Swansea.com Stadium on Good Friday in the EFL Championship.

The Swans are exactly mid-table, their status in the division all but confirmed with an impressive 0-1 win against Sunderland last time out.

Hull, meanwhile, still have work to do to pull clear of the relegation dogfight. The Tigers currently have 45 points on the board and are precariously placed in 20th. Ruben Selles' side did enough to earn a point in a 1-1 draw with play-off chasing Coventry City in their last Championship fixture.

The last meeting between the two teams ended with Hull winning 2-1.

Stephen Gillett (Playmaker Stats on Swansea): The Swans are on a roll at the moment under Alan Sheehan with three wins and three clean sheets in a row. The game prior to that hot streak was a 2-2 draw away at Leeds too, so there's a spring in the Welsh side's step at the moment (particularly given Cardiff's struggles down the other end of the table, I imagine!).  It's notable that as well as shoring up at the back, Swansea's defenders have also been contributing in a big way going forward, with Harry Darling, Ben Cabango and Josh Key all finding the net recently. Currently 12th in the table, Sheehan will be targeting a 'Top 10' finish for the Swans, but they will face a Tigers side scrapping for their lives.  This one could go either way...but If Swansea can keep it tight at the back, they can play on their visitors' nerves and nick another win here.

Prediction: 2-1

Joe Collins (Old Grandpa Joe - Joe Collins): Here we go then; the last four games of the season. It’s tight down here, but I’m confident we’ve got enough to stay in this division.

I spoke to two former Tigers yesterday, both club legends. One says we’ve got enough points to stay up now, the other is convinced we will be relegated. It just goes to show that football is a game of opinion.

Two wins over Easter would take the pressure off for Derby and Portsmouth, our final two. The squad is good enough to get back-to-back wins over Swansea and Preston. Do I think we will? No.

That’s for two reasons. The first being that we are Hull City, and we like to do things the hard way. The second is that we’ve had 8 chances under Rubén Sellés to get consecutive wins and we haven’t done it once.

If we get João Pedro in the game more, move Joe Gelhardt centrally so he can impact the game more and don’t concede within the first minute of the half, we’ll walk away from South Wales with something.
