The Whites are back in FA Women’s National League Cup action, having progressed into the First Round.

In the previous round, Leeds also had to travel away from home. They put in an excellent display to overcome Leek Town, with a comprehensive 1-4 success.

Sunday’s hosts, who play at the same level as the Whites, had an equally impressive away victory to reach this stage as well.

They travelled away from home to take on Barnsley Women, battling back from behind to win the match 2-3 with almost the final kick of the game.

In what is expected to be an exciting match, both teams come into the game having had strong starts to their league season. Leeds are in third, level on points with top of the table, whilst the Posh are second, just one point off top spot.

The match is being played at the Abbey Lawn Stadium, which is located next to Bourne Cricket Club.
