Manchester United will be hoping to retain their place at the top of the Barclays Women’s Super League table when they take on Everton at the Leigh Sports Village on Sunday.

The Red Devils are currently level on points with second-placed Chelsea at the league summit but Marc Skinner’s side have the benefit of a better goal difference.

Manchester United head coach Skinner confirmed in the pre-match press conference that he has no new injury concerns to contend with ahead of his side’s latest match. January transfer window signings Jayde Riviere and Lisa Naalsund are still some weeks away from full fitness but otherwise, The Red Devils are expected to have good squad availability.

Everton manager Brian Sørensen will again be without defender Katrine Veje who is still nursing an injury. On loan Manchester United goalkeeper Emily Ramsey is ineligible to face her parent club therefore Courtney Brosnan is set to deputise. Sørensen could opt to make a couple of changes following his side’s shock 1-0 defeat to second tier club Birmingham City in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup last weekend.

The Barclays Women’s Super League fixture between Manchester United and Everton is scheduled to kick-off at 12pm on Sunday afternoon. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
