The Red Devils have won their last three matches in all competitions but they come up against a Birmingham City side this weekend who stunned long-time Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal at the St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium in their last match.
Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner has confirmed that Kirsty Smith, Carrie Jones and Jackie Groenen are all back in full training and they could be available for selection. Midfielder Lucy Staniforth is the only absentee with the player set to be sidelined for a few weeks with a knock which she sustained before Christmas.
Birmingham City interim head coach Darren Carter remains without long term absentees Arabella Suttie and Lily Simkin while goalkeeper Marie Hourihan and defender Cecilie Sandvej are also still out. Carter has confirmed that forward Emily Whelan has recovered from COVID-19 and is available for selection after returning to training this week.
