Manchester United will be keen to continue their impressive run of results when relegation-threatened Birmingham City are the visitors to the Leigh Sports Village on Saturday.

The Red Devils have won their last three matches in all competitions but they come up against a Birmingham City side this weekend who stunned long-time Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal at the St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium in their last match.

Manchester United head coach Marc Skinner has confirmed that Kirsty Smith, Carrie Jones and Jackie Groenen are all back in full training and they could be available for selection. Midfielder Lucy Staniforth is the only absentee with the player set to be sidelined for a few weeks with a knock which she sustained before Christmas.

Carter has confirmed that forward Emily Whelan has recovered from COVID-19 and is available for selection after returning to training this week.
