Manchester City will be hoping to continue their impressive run of results when out of form Arsenal are the visitors to The Academy Stadium on Sunday.

The Cityzens have won their last six games in all competitions and they now come up against an Arsenal side who have lost their last three matches and are very much enduring a difficult spell.

Manchester City boss Gareth Taylor could offer a late fitness test to goalkeeper Karima Benameur Taieb who is rated doubtful. While Ellie Roebuck and Karen Bardsley are making progress, they remain unavailable therefore Khiara Keating could again deputise in-between the sticks. The Cityzens remain without Esme Morgan and Chloe Kelly while Hayley Raso and Alanna Kennedy are away on international duty.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall is hoping to have Lotte Wubben-Moy, Rafaelle and Lia Wälti available for selection, although late decisions could be made. Leah Williamson and Tobin Heath are available again while Stina Blackstenius and Laura Wienroither are pushing for starts. Malin Gut remains the one long term absentee while Lydia Williams, Steph Catley, Steph Catley and Mana Iwabuchi are away at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022.

The Barclays FA Women’s Super League fixture between Manchester City and Arsenal is scheduled to kick-off at 6.45pm on Sunday evening. Tickets for the match remain available and can be purchased by clicking here.
