Whites back in league action.

Leeds United Women return to action on Sunday afternoon with a league clash against Chester Le Street Ladies (2PM), following a break of three weeks which saw the side end the first batch of fixtures top of the table.

The Whites come into the game on the back of a battling display which ended in defeat away at higher-division Wolverhampton Wanderers in the League Cup, but have won their last three league games in a row, having defeated Liverpool Feds 1-0 at Global Stadium last time out.

Chester Le Street arrive in Tadcaster currently in eighth place, with one win, two draws and one loss from their opening four league games.

Leeds will begin the match having dropped to second in the table on goal difference, as Liverpool Feds defeated Norton & Stockton last week, with four wins from their opening five games.

A win for Dan O’Hearne’s side could see them re-take top-spot, depending on results elsewhere in the division. The visitors could go as high as fifth spot.
