Preview: Juventus Women vs Lazio

The Juventus Women’s First Team return to league action in the early Sunday afternoon kick-off, taking on Lazio in Biella at 12:30 CET.

The Bianconere got back to winning ways in Serie A before the recent international break, beating Como Women away from home, and they remain top of the table coming into Matchday 12.

Head-to-head

Juventus have won each of the three previous Serie A meetings with Lazio, scoring 12 goals in those games and at least two goals in each.
Juventus are unbeaten in their last 29 games against newly-promoted sides in Serie A, winning 28 of those. In that time, they have never conceded more than one goal in a game against such an opponent.
The Bianconere have avoided defeat in nine of their last 10 home games against teams from Lazio, losing just once against Roma in November 2023.

Cristiana Girelli has scored eight Serie A goals against Lazio, all during her time in Verona, not scoring against them since 2012. They are one of two teams - along with Atalanta Mozzanica - that she has not scored against as a Juventus player of the 20 sides she has faced with the Bianconere.
Cristiana Girelli (seven) and Arianna Caruso (five) are the highest-scoring pair in Serie A this season, combining for 12 goals already, two more goals than Lazio as a whole have managed to date.
Of the players in Europe’s top-five leagues to have had a hand in at least five goals this season, Paulina Krumbiegel (three goals, two assists), is one of the three players to have done so with the fewest minutes played - 450, behind just Brighton’s Kiko Seike (418) and Kessya Bussy of Paris FC (428).

Eleonora Goldoni scored the first of her three Serie A goals this season against Juventus on 21 September. She is Lazio’s top scorer this term as well, and hasn’t managed more in a season since netting five in 2021/22 with Napoli.
Noemi Visentin has scored seven of her nine Serie A goals away from home, and one of the two she scored at home came against Juventus in a 5-1 loss with Lazio in April 2022.
