Leeds United travel along the M62 to face Yorkshire rivals Hull City in their next Sky Bet Championship clash, with action from the MKM Stadium getting underway at 3pm on Saturday.
The Whites head into the fixture top of the table, with an unbeaten festive period seeing Daniel Farke’s side win three matches over Christmas before being held to a 1-1 draw by Blackburn Rovers on New Year’s Day.
An emphatic 4-0 victory over Oxford United at Elland Road kickstarted the impressive run, before a Joël Piroe brace saw Daniel Farke’s side pick up three important Boxing Day points at Stoke City.
A late Brenden Aaronson winner ensured United edged past Derby County at Pride Park, with the team then having to settle for a point against the Lancashire outfit in the first match of 2025.
Leeds have amassed 52 points from their opening 25 matches to leave them three clear at the top of the standings, whilst Hull City’s tally of 22 points means the Tigers currently sit in the relegation zone.
Since the appointment of Rubén Sellés in December, with the Spaniard taking over from Tim Walter, Hull have enjoyed somewhat of an uplift in form however, winning two of their previous four matches as they look to climb away from danger.
The two sides have already met once this campaign, where second half strikes from Mateo Joseph and Piroe helped the Whites earn the derby day bragging rights with a 2-0 victory at Elland Road in August.
Action from the MKM Stadium gets underway at 3pm.
