Everton will lock horns with Bournemouth in their final-day clash at Goodison Park on Sunday, knowing a win will secure their top-flight status.

The Toffees played out a 1-1 draw at Wolverhampton Wanderers in their most recent Premier League encounter.

The visitors looked on course for a damaging defeat after Hwang Hee-chan fired the opener after 34 minutes.

Sean Dyche’s side tried to mount a comeback but failed to net the leveller until very late in the game.

Yerry Mina popped up with a dramatic equaliser in the ninth minute of stoppage time, with Everton ultimately securing a crucial point in their relegation battle.

The Toffees now face a huge clash with Bournemouth on the final day of the season as they aim to avoid relegation from the top division.

The Blues are two points ahead of Leicester City and Leeds United, meaning a draw or defeat could see them relegated.

Bournemouth confirmed their survival weeks ago after registering five victories last month.

However, the Cherries are in a poor run of form as they have lost all their last three games.

Their most recent defeat came at home to Manchester United, who ran out 1-0 winners after a stunning Casemiro goal.

Gary O’Neil’s side are 15th in the Premier League table with 39 points.

Team News

Everton boss Dyche is dealing with several injury woes this weekend. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Nathan Patterson were forced off at Molineux last weekend and won’t be involved on Sunday.

Seamus Coleman will also be missing, so Michael Keane will likely play at right-back.

Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier will sit out the match due to a thigh injury, while Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas are also sidelined.

Everton vs Bournemouth Potential line-ups

Everton: Pickford; Garner, Keane, Mina, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Iwobi, Doucoure, Gueye, McNeil; Gray.

Bournemouth: Neto; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Vina; Cook, Lerma, Brooks; Christie, Solanke, Ouattara.

Everton vs Bournemouth prediction

Going down to the Championship would be a disaster for Everton.

They will be highly motivated to pick up three points at Goodison Park this weekend, and we believe they will.
