England and Spain will be hoping to record their first victory at the inaugural Arnold Clark Cup when the pair contest their second tournament fixture at Carrow Road in Norwich on Sunday.

Both sides battled to 1-1 draws in the opening round of matches in Middlesbrough on Thursday with Spain having been denied by a late Germany equaliser and England having thrown away a one-goal lead against Canada.

England head coach Sarina Wiegman did not have any fitness concerns to address ahead of her side’s final pre-game training session. The Lionesses will line-up differently against Spain with Wiegman having confirmed in the pre-match press conference that changes will be made.

It remains to be seen whether Wiegman will rest goalkeeper Mary Earps for the first time in her tenure while she could opt for various new outfield options with England having shown signs of sloppiness against Canada on Thursday. Lucy Bronze, Beth Mead and Ellen White are amongst those players who could come in from the start.

Spain head coach Jorge Vilda believes that his side will come up against the strongest-ever England team in Norwich. He fielded a talented line-up against Germany on Thursday and it remains to be seen whether he will again offer starts to all of his top players. Forward Lucía García was arguably one of the standout players against Germany despite coming off the bench and she could be considered for a starting place at Carrow Road.

The Arnold Clark Cup fixture between England and Spain kicks-off at 3.15pm on Sunday.
