England will be aiming to make it five wins out of five in FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 qualifying when they face Austria at The Stadium of Light in Sunderland tomorrow.

The Lionesses have won their first four FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 qualifiers while they have scored 32 goals and are yet to concede.

Millie Bright will lead Sarina Wiegman’s side both against Austria and for the game against Latvia in Doncaster on Tuesday evening. She has been appointed captain in the absence of Arsenal’s Leah Williamson. The Lionesses remain without Manchester City trio Ellie Roebuck, Lucy Bronze and Steph Houghton through injury. Forward Ellen White is in-line to make her 100th appearance for the Lionesses on Wearside.

Austria come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Northern Ireland in Belfast last time out. Head coach Irene Fuhrmann remains without injured captain Viktoria Schnaderbeck while Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Laura Feiersinger has travelled to England with the squad but will miss the game due to a stomach problem.
