Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic side head into Wednesday evening’s Premiership clash in an incredibly impressive run of form, with the Bhoys remaining undefeated in their last 19 league outings – with 16 of these coming as wins.
As such, the 56-year-old Hoops boss will be quietly confident that his side can make it 20 games unbeaten when Celtic visit a struggling Aberdeen outfit this evening – with Stephen Glass’ side currently occupying seventh place in the Premiership standings.

So, will the Greek-Australian manager make any changes to the side that started the 4-0 win over the Motherwell last time out? Here’s how we think Celtic could line up against the Dons, along with the latest team and injury news…
With Postecoglou recently revealing that both David Turnbull and Kyogo Furuhashi are still some way off making a return to first-team action, as well as central midfielder Yosuke Ideguchi being unlikely to make a return this evening, we predict that the 56-year-old will make four changes to the side that lined up against Motherwell last weekend.
Two of these changes come in the back four, with Josip Juranovic taking Anthony Ralston’s place at right-back in the XI, and Carl Starfelt making way for the much-anticipated return of the £20k-per-week Christopher Jullien – the defender dubbed a “leader” by Noel Whelan who has been sidelined with a knee injury since December of 2020.

The third change comes in the middle of the park, with Reo Hatate – who has already scored three goals and registered two assists over his five appearances for Celtic – being rested, and Matt O’Riley taking the Japan international’s spot alongside Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic in Postecoglou’s midfield three.
In attack, Daizen Maeda retains his place on the left-wing, as does Giorgos Giakoumakis up top, while Liel Abada – who has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists over his 38 fixtures for the Bhoys – is also given a rest, with Jota coming in on the right.
