After a quick turnaround from their 3-0 EFL Cup win against Luton Town on Tuesday, Manchester United jump right back into Premier League action as they visit the Amex Stadium to play Brighton and Hove Albion.

United have fared well against Brighton, winning 3-1 and 3-0 last season, so expectations are high for United to shake off their slow start to date.

After getting his first win and clean sheet on Tuesday, Dean Henderson is expected to return to the bench for David De Gea.

Forward Donny van de Beek has had an impressive two games for United this season so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the former Ajax man gets his first premier league start in the midfield alongside Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.

Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford both came off the bench to score in midweek and are expected to be among a host of first-teamers restored to the starting XI, while Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof are likely to come back into the defensive line.

Brighton will be without Yves Bissouma after he was sent off for his accidental-but-dangerous kick to the face of Jamal Lewis during last weekend’s win at Newcastle.

Brighton & Hove Albion possible starting lineup:

Ryan; White, Dunk, Webster; Lamptey, Propper, Alzate, March; Trossard, Connolly, Maupay

Manchester United possible starting lineup:

De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, Van de Beek; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial
