Rick Passmoor’s team were knocked out of the League Cup on Sunday by York City and a week prior, fell to a 3-1 defeat against Norton & Stockton Ancients.

Bradford also come into the game after being knocked out of the cup, they were beaten 3-1 at Chorley.

The Bantams have just one win to their name so far this season, putting them second-bottom of the table five games in.

Supporter Information:

For supporters wishing to attend, the game kicks off at 2:15pm at Bradford Park Avenue’s Horsfall Community Stadium, Cemetery Rd, Bradford, BD6 2NG.

Admission prices are £5 for adults, children go free. Supporters will be able to purchase refreshments from the tea bar. Toilets for supporters are located next to the clubhouse.

Players to watch:

Goals are proving hard to come by for Bradford in the early stages of this season, they have netted just five so far, making them the division’s lowest scorers.

However, Charlotte Stuart was the Bantams' top scorer last season with 19 and has two so far, so is one to keep an eye on for Leeds.

Leeds will be boosted by the return of striker Laura Bartup, whilst Abbie Brown has started the season in fine form. Both have two goals each so far.

Previous meetings:

Bradford City Women 1-0 Leeds United Women (FA Women’s National League Division One North, 28th September 2021)

Sophie Hawkins’ first half strike was enough for Bradford to take all three points in the first meeting of the season between the two sides.

Leeds United Women 3-3 Bradford City Women (FA Women’s National League Division One North, 24th February 2022)

A goal-fest at Thorp Arch saw the points shared on a cold Thursday night at Thorp Arch. Elanna Prothero put the visitors in the lead before a stunning, quick-fire Kanisha Underdown brace put Leeds 2-1 up, only for Prothero to restore parity for Bradford two minutes later.

Olivia Smart made it 3-2 to Leeds before half time but Stuart scored the only goal of the second half to ensure the points were shared.

Leeds United Women 3-1 Bradford City Women (West Riding County Cup, 27th February 2022)

The two sides met again just three days later, Leeds running out comfortable winners in another high-scoring game.

The Whites got off to the perfect start as Katie Ramsden opened the scoring just over a minute in. Harriet Jakeman levelled the scores midway through the first half.

Just like they did in the first, the Whites started brightly in the second half. Kathryn Smith coolly dispatching a penalty less than two minutes after the restart.

Substitute Abbie Brown sealed the victory for Leeds late on to book their place in the County Cup final.
