Arsenal will be hoping to put an end to Bayern Munich’s perfect home record when the two clubs contest a UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final, first leg tie at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday evening.

The German club have won their last 12 home fixtures in all competitions, a run which started towards the end of last season. Arsenal will be one of the toughest opponents that Bayern Munich will face on home soil this season and The Gunners will be hopeful of making it unlucky 13 for their hosts.

Bayern Munich head coach Alexander Straus continues to be without the services of long-term absentees Giulia Gwinn and Linda Dallmann while Tainara remains sidelined with an ankle injury. Defender Carolin Simon is expected to return to the squad after overcoming a minor injury.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall continues to be without long-term absentees Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema who are out for the season. Steph Catley is also sidelined with a foot injury. Attackers Gio Queiroz and Jodie Taylor do not feature in The Gunners’ UEFA Women’s Champions League squad.
