Arsenal and Manchester City will battle it out for a place in the FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final when they contest their semi-final tie at the LV Bet Stadium in Boreham Wood on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners are the competition’s most successful club with five trophy wins while latest opponents Manchester City are the current holders after seeing off Chelsea in last season’s final at AFC Wimbledon’s Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall has no new injury concerns to contend with ahead of his side’s latest match. Attackers Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema continue to be sidelined with Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries while youngster Teyah Goldie is still not fit enough for selection. Lia Wälti is expected to return after overcoming a recent injury.

Manchester City head coach Gareth Taylor will check on the fitness of three members of his squad before making his final team selection. The condition of defenders Alanna Kennedy, Demi Stokes and Esme Morgan will be assessed ahead of the trip to Hertfordshire. Kennedy and Stokes are the most likely of the three players to make the squad.

The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup semi-final tie between Arsenal and Manchester City kicks-off at 7.15pm on Wednesday evening. Tickets remain on-sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
