Arsenal will be hoping to secure their place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League when they face European champions FC Barcelona at The Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

The Gunners need just a point to qualify for the last eight or a favourable result in the other game between HB Køge and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall is not thought to have any new injury concerns to contend with following his side’s 3-0 Vitality Women’s FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea at the weekend. Malin Gut and Leah Williamson remain sidelined while it has been confirmed that Tobin Heath is also still unavailable.

Barcelona have travelled to England with four players currently on the sidelines. Defender María León is out as are forwards Bruna Vilamala, Andrea Falcón and Asisat Oshoala. The Catalan club did not miss those players on Saturday with Jonatan Giráldez’s side having swept Athletic Club aside with a 4-0 Primera División victory at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League group fixture between Arsenal and Barcelona at The Emirates Stadium kicks-off at 7pm on Thursday evening. Tickets are now on general sale and can be purchased by clicking here. Fans who are unable to attend the match can stream the action live on DAZN.
