Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion will be hoping to secure their place at Wembley when the pair contest their 2020/2021 Vitality Women’s FA Cup semi-final tie at Meadow Park on Sunday.

The Gunners have netted a phenomenal 24 goals in three Vitality Women’s FA Cup ties while Brighton & Hove Albion are yet to concede in the competition.

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall is understood to be ready to rest star forward Vivianne Miedema with the player having had little time to rest over the summer due to the Olympics. Viktoria Schnaderbeck suffered an injury setback during the international break which saw her pull out of the Austria squad and she will not feature against The Seagulls. Midfielder Malin Gut remains sidelined with a long term injury but Nicoline Boye Sørensen could return.

Brighton & Hove Albion will be without Arsenal loanee Fran Stenson so teenager Frances Angel is set to provide cover for the goalkeeping position on the bench. Midfielder Dani Bowman has been recovering from foot surgery and it is not known when she will be fit to return. Manager Hope Powell is not thought to have any new injury concerns to contend with following the international break.
