Arsenal will be hoping to overturn a one-goal deficit when they face German club Bayern Munich in a UEFA Women’s Champions League, quarter-final, second leg tie at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Gunners went down 1-0 in the first leg at the Allianz Arena last week, Lea Schüller netting the game’s only goal in the first half. Arsenal played some good football at times in that fixture and they will be hopeful of turning the tie around and reaching the semi-finals.

Arsenal head coach Jonas Eidevall has no new injury concerns to contend with ahead of his side’s latest match. Long-term absentees Beth Mead and Vivianne Miedema remain sidelined, as does defender Steph Catley. Lina Hurtig is fit to be part of the squad but she is only expected to be utilised off the bench.

Bayern Munich head coach Alexander Straus remains without the services of Linda Dallmann and Giulia Gwinn who are out for the long-term. Defensive duo Carolin Simon and Tainara are also expected to miss out.

The UEFA Women’s Champions League, quarter-final, second leg tie between Arsenal and Bayern Munich kicks-off at 8pm on Wednesday evening. Tickets continue to be on general sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
