Josh Brownhill

Bournemouth Burnley Leicester Wolves

Freddie Woodman – 5

Didn’t have much to do apart from the two goals. Could have perhaps cut out Wells’ cross for the second and was let down by Brady for the first.

Jordan Storey – 5

Was beaten to the ball by Bell at the back post for City’s second goal. Tried to make some overlapping runs in the second half but failed to make a difference.

Liam Lindsay – 4

Outpaced for Bell’s goal as Wells got the wrong side of him and put a cross in for his team-mate to fire home. Was withdrawn at half-time with what looked to be an injury.

Andrew Hughes – 5

Not the Welshman’s best game as he was caught out of position a number of times.

Alan Browne – 5

Tried his heart out down the right-hand side and put in some good balls, especially in the first half. Waned in the second half though and was eventually replaced by Potts.

Ryan Ledson – 5

Didn’t get the better of the midfield battle with Alex Scott. Tried his best to get his foot on the ball but didn’t have much influence.

Ali McCann – 5

Lots of effort and put some good tackles especially in the first half but was bamboozled by the impressive Scott before goal number two for City.

Robbie Brady – 5

Was the main source of crosses but very little came off for the Irishman. Had a glorious second half chance with a header that somehow didn’t go on target.

Liam Delap – 5

Lots of effort but little endeavour. Not many chances of scoring his first goal for the club.

Ched Evans – 6

Was on the scoresheet as he reacted quickest on the hour mark to O’Leary’s mistake. Also had a first half diving header stopped by the City goalkeeper.

Tom Cannon – 6

Had some very good chances in both halves, a header that was stopped early on and a shot in the second half which was denied by O’Leary. First goal will surely come soon.

Substitutes

Greg Cunningham – 5

Replaced Lindsay at half-time but did not have much to do at all as the visitors did not attack much in the second 45 minutes.

Alvaro Fernandez – 4

Had a couple of shots that were either blocked or went into the stands after he replaced Brady. Didn’t have much of an impact in his cameo.

Josh Onomah – 4

Looked slightly leggy and not very match-fit in his cameo. Needs minutes under his belt.

Tried to get forward and make things happen but it wasn’t to be despite his best efforts.
