Juventus Women’s First Team Coach Massimiliano Canzi and Paulina Krumbiegel spoke to the press after the 4-2 win over Como at the Stadio Comunale Vittorio Pozzo-La Marmora.

COACH CANZI’S THOUGHTS ON THE GAME

“We are scoring a lot of goals for sure; we are doing well in that aspect and I am happy. I can't be happy with the defensive displays though because we have conceded 5 goals in 2 games which is a lot, we have to improve in that respect. The difference between the first and second half was the attitude of the team, we have great players but we cannot think will win just because we are called Juventus. We have to fight and win duels, in the second half the attitude of the whole team changed. The first game at home? Everything is very nice, a great job has been done, the pitch is beautiful. The support was great, I have to congratulate the fans who came. From tomorrow morning we will start thinking about the Women's Champions League, we are going to play against a team that was a semi-finalist last season. We will have to put in a great performance to bring home a positive result. The impact of playing with one more or less midfielder is relative and depends on the situation and analysis of the match.”

PAULINA KRUMBIEGEL’S POST-MATCH COMMENTS

“I am very happy with the two goals but even happier with the three points. It was a tough game, we had some difficulties in the first half but I am very happy with the result in the end. Against PSG we have to make fewer mistakes defensively, we are conceding too many goals. I think this is the most important thing to improve. My acclimatisation? It's a new challenge for me and I feel good. I will adapt and settle in more and more over time, it's different here than in Germany so it will take a while but I'm very satisfied with the last few weeks and winning the first two games.”
