Shipped three goals in his side’s 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United but it would have been much worse had he not saved two penalties.
Continued his fine start to the season with an all-action performance in Liverpool’s win over Tottenham. What a player.
Brought some much-needed calmness to City’s backline and was instrumental in his side keeping a clean sheet against Aston Villa.
Volleyed home his side’s equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle after a solid performance at left-wing-back.
Was the best player on the pitch by quite some distance against Spurs as he bossed the midfield and distributed the ball well.
Was the man of the match at Carrow Road as he opened the scoring and put in a relentless box-to-box shift for his team.
Looked very comfortable as he filled in for Rodri in the No6 role, and took his goal very well.
Opened his Foxes account as he bagged a hat-trick in his side’s 9-0 win at Southampton on Friday night.
Silenced his critics by bagging a perfect hat-trick in the win away at Burnley, becoming the first Chelsea player to do so since Didier Drogba.
Missed a penalty but also netted his fifth goal of the season in the win at Norwich.
Filled his boots with a hat-trick at St Mary’s. He’ll be 33 in January but he’s still one of the best strikers around.
