Liverpool are sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table ahead of a midweek round of fixtures.
Chelsea are perhaps the headline act of Tuesday’s games, with the Blues hosting struggling Southampton and in dire need of a win. Crystal Palace are also in action when they entertain the impressive Aston Villa.
Wednesday then brings an even busier day of action. Brentford welcome Everton, while Manchester United host Ipswich as Ruben Amorim looks to avoid what could be an embarrassing evening at Old Trafford.
Nottingham Forest will look to put pressure on Arsenal, who desperately need a win to maintain any even distant hopes of winning the Premier League title. Tottenham welcome Manchester City, having already beaten Pep Guardiola’s side twice this season.
Liverpool entertain Newcastle in a classic fixture later that evening before the midweek action wraps up when West Ham entertain Leicester.
