The Premier League champions made light work of Brighton on Thursday to move one point behind leaders Arsenal while also boasting a game in had.

The Gunners head to bitter rivals Tottenham on Sunday afternoon having already thrashed Chelsea earlier this week, running out 5-0 winners over the Blues.

Spurs have not played since their 4-0 drubbing at Newcastle earlier this month but would surely love to stop Arsenal’s title bid in its tracks.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will still harbour hopes of winning the Premier League however distant they may be following Wednesday’s defeat to Everton. They begin the weekend’s action by traveling to West Ham, who were beaten 5-2 at Crystal Palace last time out.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Manchester United are handed another favourable game in their pursuit of Europa League qualification after their win over Sheffield United by hosting relegation-threated Burnley.

In-form Palace head to Fulham on Saturday too before Chelsea look for a response against Aston Villa that evening.

City round off the action by traveling to Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea and Spurs play their rearranged game on Thursday 2 May.
