Premier League away days most certainly weren’t created equal.
You’re probably not going to rock up at Craven Cottage anticipating pyrotechnics and a volcanic atmosphere just as you won’t arrive at the London Stadium ready to be mere inches away from the pitch.
At the end of the day, such is the diversity of stadiums and match-day experiences around the English top-flight that it’s inevitable fans will enjoy their visits to some more than others.
And while a lot of that will depend on personal taste in light of what an individual fan values most in their away days, the general themes of which arenas are the best and worst undoubtedly still come out in the average and aggregates.
In fact, the latest study into which Premier League away days rule the roost has shone a fascinating light on exactly that by breaking down the good, the bad and the ugly of what the division has to offer.

Conducted by OLBG, each Premier League stadium was assessed on how good they are to visit for a travelling fan with a whole number of metrics factored in to their eventual ranking.
Manchester United's Old Trafford was found to have the cheapest pints at £3.00 a go, while Southampton's ground had the largest away allocation and parking was even free in certain areas close to Crystal Palace's Selhurst Park.
There are three stadiums that have their nearest train station just a three minute walk away, whereas there's a half-hour hike for those completing the journey to Anfield on foot.

Throw in Google reviews, police arrest statistics and overall capacities to boot before the in-depth study then awarded each stadium an away day score out of 10 that would duly inform the overall order.
Got it? Right then, well, be sure to check out which Premier League stadiums fared the worst and best in one of the most thorough and interesting studies we've ever seen on the topic down below:

Man, Spurs just got it so, so right with the new stadium, didn't they?
Whereas so many new grounds over the last 20 years have ripped the soul out of the club and killed the acoustics all for a boring and symmetrical bowl, Tottenham have set the perfect example for how every club should upgrade their ground.
Yes, Spurs have rolled out modern facilities and splashed out on high-tech innovations, but they've still given the ground oodles of character and kept the fans nice and close to the pitch.
Marry that to very favourable Google reviews, respectable parking prices and a short walk from the nearest stadium to leave Tottenham as a fair winner when it comes to Premier League away days.
However, it's perhaps a little surprising to see Arsenal's Emirates Stadium sharing the next step on the podium, especially given the ground can be notorious for charging some seriously hefty prices for its refreshments.
Anfield, which is so often the darling of studies like these, suffered something of a humbling down in eighth place and both Manchester clubs, as well as Chelsea, found themselves languishing in the bottom half.
But it was Leicester City's King Power Stadium that much reflected its own team's performance this reason by bringing up the rear with a poor away day score of just 2.46 out of 10.
Nevertheless, as we all know, there's no substitute for judging an away day based on your own personal experiences on the road, so tell us this: what's your favourite Premier League stadium to visit as a travelling fan?
