The 2022-23 Premier League season might be upon us but let’s cast our minds back to a decade when football felt purer and life was more simple: the 90s.

Anyone old enough to remember the 1990s misses the 1990s. It was a glorious decade for so many reasons.

The Premier League began at the start of the 1992-93 season and it wasn’t long before English football was blessed with some of the world’s best players and managers.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United dominated the 90s, winning five of the first of the first seven Premier League titles between ’92 and 1999.

However, Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal were also a major force, Blackburn Rovers managed to win the title in 1995, Newcastle United were incredibly entertaining, Wimbledon’s Crazy Gang continued to give opponents nightmares, and there was tons of cult heroes at every club.
