Dean Huijsen is set to be one of the most coveted players in the upcoming summer transfer window with a host of top clubs, including Real Madrid, gunning for his signing.

As reported a while back, Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested and have made contact the youngster’s entourage to explore a potential transfer.

However, according to Fichajes, from those close to Huijsen, the message is clear: wearing the white shirt of Real Madrid would be the realisation of a dream for the 19-year-old.

Known for his tactical maturity and composure despite his age, the Bournemouth starlet has become a serious name on the radar of the Spanish capital club and the admiration is reciprocated by the defensive prodigy.

At just 19 years old, Huijsen has already shown a high level of performance in the demanding environment of the Premier League, standing out for his anticipation, composure in building play from the back, and his strong understanding of the game.

Real Madrid are intent on strengthening their defence with young talent, aware of the importance of planning for a transition in that position.

The coming weeks will be crucial in determining Huijsen’s future. The Merengues are looking to move quickly, hoping to beat out other major clubs also tracking the central defender.

While Bournemouth are reluctant to let the Spanish international go, the fact that his contract has a £50 million release clause pretty much opens the door for an exit.

Given the strong interest he is attracting, Huijsen’s exit in the summer looks a certainty. And it appears that the 19-year-old is angling for a return to Spain to sign for Real Madrid.
