Chico Flores didn't fail to make the most of his opportunity after Sam Allardyce was caught up in a newspaper sting that would cause him to lose the England job.
Allardyce was filmed offering to help Telegraph reporters - posing as businessmen - get around FIFA rules on third-party ownership, and it would mark the end of his spell in charge of the national team.
And Chico couldn't resist mocking Allardyce, posting a series of laughing emojis on Twitter in the wake of the sting.
Swansea defender followed it up with a 'thug life' version of his comical incident with Allardyce in 2013.
What incident are we referring to?
You know the one.
Back in 2013, Allardyce laughed hysterically in Chico's face after the then-Swansea player fell dramatically right in front of the ex-West Ham boss.
Chico got to his feet and approached Allardyce, who simply continued to laugh at him.
It's a classic Premier League moment.
Reflecting on the incident, Allardyce admitted he was hoping to draw an angry reaction from Chico in the hopes that it would lead to a red card.
"Chico Flores is a centre-half, and I was a centre-half," he said, per Wales Online.
"This one went viral. I was thinking if he punches me he might get sent off and it'll give us a better chance of winning."
One feels as though Chico, who spent two years in the top flight with Swansea, had the last laugh.
The Telegraph's sting led to the end of Allardyce in his dream job after just one match.
And the former Newcastle United boss certainly wasn't laughing after that.
