Next week’s scheduled Premier League fixture between Leeds United and Southampton has been postponed.

That is in order to allow the Saints to contest their FA Cup third round game against Shrewsbury Town.

Southampton will now welcome Shrewsbury to St Mary’s on Tuesday night for that fixture, with the Leeds clash being moved to a later date.

The FA Cup game had been due to be played last weekend but was shelved due to a COVID-19 outbreak in the League One side’s camp.

The Premier League fixture between Leeds and Southampton will be rescheduled in due course, although no make-up date has been found yet.
