The Premier League is now in its fourth week for the 22-23 season, so here we have our predictions for how we think the fixtures will play out.
The 22/23 campaign is shaping up to be an absolutely ridiculous one. With some shocking results occurring so far, it’s becoming harder and harder to predict just what will happen in the next game week – however, we’ll be trying to do just that.
Game week 3 provided us with some fantastic games. We saw Chelsea undone by a fantastic Leeds United side, a cracker between Manchester City and Newcastle United which ended in a 3-3 draw and yet another fine performance from Arsenal, who currently sit top of the league.
Now we turn our attention to game week 4 and what that might hold. So, with this – here are our game week 4 predictions for the Premier League 22/23 season.
Can Manchester United‘s start of the season go from bad to worse? We think that they’ll at least pick up some points in this fixture. 1-1 is our prediction.
Brentford‘s last home fixture was that astounding victory against Manchester United and we think the home crowd should spur them on to another win against a struggling Everton side.
Both sides have started the 22/23 season very impressively, with both teams currently undefeated. We think Brighton‘s scintilating form will continue and they’ll deliver Leeds their first loss of the campaign.
Prediction: Brighton 2 – 1 Leeds
After their defeat to Leeds United, Chelsea will be looking to get back to winning ways against Leicester – we think they’ll do just that after Brendan Rodger‘s disappointing start to the season.
Bournemouth have been leaking goals for fun so far and Liverpool will be looking to close the gap to keep well within the runnings for this years title. We think goals will flow at Anfield this weekend.
The current champions will also be looking to return to winning ways after their 3 – 3 thriller with Newcastle, but an in-form Palace side will be looking to stop that. We think this will be a close encounter but the Cityzens will come out on top.
Arsenal are taking the 22-23 season by storm and now they face newly promoted Fulham. Mikel Arteta’s men should get the win.
Prediction: Arsenal 2 – 0 Fulham
A tricky one here, West Ham look awful thus far but do have undeniable talent, whereas Villa are also struggling under Steven Gerrard. This has a draw written all over it.
Wolves upped their game against Spurs at the weekend but still came out with a loss, meanwhile a fresh looking Newcastle side look fierce after their draw with the champions. Eddie Howe’s side will nick this one in our opinion.
The final fixture of the weekend is newly promoted Nottingham Forest against Tottenham Hotspur. Antonio Conte‘s side have started brilliantly and their form will most probably continue in game week 4.
