Loïs Openda is expected to return to RB Leipzig’s starting lineup tonight as Marco Rose’s side look to overturn a 1-0 deficit against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu tonight.

The Bundesliga side had chances in the first-leg, but failed to convert them and despite coming up against the European giants, this tie isn’t completely over just yet.

RB Leipzig are coming into this game following a 4-1 win against Bochum at the weekend which sees the Saxony club just one point behind Borussia Dortmund, who occupy the Champions League spot.

Like Openda, Xaver Schlager should also return to the starting lineup tonight after missing Saturday’s game, but Péter Gulácsi and the back four should remain unchanged.

In attack, Yussuf Poulsen should also be an option to Rose, with Christoph Baumgartner and Elif Elmas both creative options available from the bench.

Predicted RB Leipzig XI vs Real Madrid

Péter Gulácsi – Benjamin Henrichs, Willi Orban, Castello Lukeba, David Raum – Amadou Haidara, Xaver Schlager – Dani Olmo, Xavi Simons – Loïs Openda, Benjamin Sesko.
