Manchester United will take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday at Old Trafford, and they aim to secure back-to-back wins in this competition for the first time under Ruben Amorim.

The Red Devils are heading into this game on the back of a 2-0 win against FCSB in the Europa League and they should be confident.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, are showing steady progress under Oliver Glasner. After a tough start to the season, they are now gradually improving, and the fixture promises to be a cracking contest.

Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze is ruled out of this match because of a niggling foot issue, but United should focus on their game plan instead.

One of the major problems United have faced this season is that they don’t score early. In fact, they have failed to score a first-half goal in 17 top-flight games this season, and that is something Amorim should address this weekend.

With games coming thick and fast, the Portuguese boss is likely to make some changes to the starting line-up from the previous game.

Andre Onana is the first-choice keeper at the club, and he will regain his spot in the starting line-up against the Eagles.

In defence, the likes of Lisando Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui should retain their places. Harry Maguire is also likely to come into the starting line-up.

Tyler Malacia, 25, started in the previous game, but he was taken off at half-time. The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Celtic on loan, and he is likely to be dropped.

Joshua Zirkzee should also return to the side. Rasmus Hojlund, 21, started in the previous game, but Zirkzee is most likely to get the nod.

Alejandro Garnacho was suffering from illness, and he might start from the bench. Amorim could make five changes from the previous game against Palace.

Manchester United predicted XI: Onana, Martinez, De Ligt, Maguire, Mazraoui, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dalot, Amad, Fernandes, Zirkzee.
