Liverpool are at the top of the league table at the moment with 53 points from 22 matches.

The Merseyside outfit are six points clear of second-placed Arsenal, who have played 23 games.

Liverpool have lost just one match in the Premier League all season, and they will be determined to maintain that proud record when they take on Bournemouth away from home at the Vitality Stadium in the league on Saturday.

Midfielder Curtis Jones is expected to miss out again, while the Reds will make a late decision on the availability of Diogo Jota, Joe Gomez and Darwin Nunez.

Forward Jota has not played for Liverpool since the match against Nottingham Forest in mid-January, while defender Gomez has been on the sidelines for the past eight games and striker Nunez did not play against PSV in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday due to illness.

How Liverpool could line up vs Bournemouth

Caoimhin Kelleher started in goal for Liverpool against PSV, but against high-flying Bournemouth, Slot will certainly bring back his number one goalkeeper and £225,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazil international Alisson.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk and Konstantinos Tsimikas will be the four defenders for Liverpool, while Dutch star Ryan Gravenberch and Argentine ace Alexis Mac Allister will be the two players in holding midfield.

Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo will be the three attacking midfielders, with Luis Diaz leading the line for the visiting team.
