Juventus will aim to get back to winning ways when they face newly promoted Genoa tomorrow at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus found themselves knocked to third place in the league standings following a 2-2 draw with Atalanta in their last match which enabled Milan to claim second place. The Bianconeri are yet to win a game this month as the inspiring 3-2 victory over Frosinone was followed by a frustrating 2-1 defeat to Napoli. Massimiliano Allegri believes that getting three points from their next few matches will solve their recent dip in form as Juventus’ sights remain firm on finishing as runners-up this season. Having conceded twice in each of their last four outings, the Old Lady are still the second-best defensive side in the Serie A this campaign after league leaders Inter.

Meanwhile, Genoa come into this match on the back of a baffling 3-2 defeat to Monza. Matteo Pessina and Dany Mota gave the visitors a two-goal lead early on in the match. The Grifone staged a potential comeback with Albert Gudmundsson and Vitinha striking in the second half to level the scores but Daniel Maldini’s 79th-minute strike helped Monza get the three points. Alberto Gilardino’s men lost back-to-back for the second time since promotion to the Serie A but they are yet to lose three in a row. The Liguria-based side are dreaming of a top-half finish as they are now clear of the drop zone by nine points.
