Borussia Dortmund travel to Stuttgart on Saturday afternoon as they look to keep pressure on leaders Bayern Munich, who are two points ahead of Die Schwarzgelben. Kick-off is at 15:30 local time.
Heading into the game, Edin Terzic stated that Nico Schlotterbeck would be unavailable whilst there are concerns over Niklas Süle, which could see Emre Can partner Mats Hummels in central defence. Marius Wolf is also expected to be given a rest with Julian Ryerson on the right and Raphael Guerreiro on the left.
Can playing in defence would mean a midfield partnership of Salih Özcan and Jude Bellingham, with Julian Brandt playing in his preferred No. 10 role after signing a contract extension – Marco Reus is only expected to get a place on the bench.
They’ll be pace in attack against Stuttgart’s back three with Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen expected to start in the wide areas with Youssoufa Moukoko starting ahead of Sébastien Haller, who has looked lethargic of late, but will be an option on the bench.
