The Champions League group stages concluded this week and Mondayâs draw should be very interesting indeed.
Before then, itâs time to update our list of Europeâs 10 most in-form clubs.
It came down to a straight shoot-out between Porto and Shakhtar Donetsk for second place in Champions League Group H on Wednesday, and what a shoot-out it was!
The Portuguese sideâs 5-3 victory took them through to the next round, and theyâre also now level on points with Sporting CP at the top of the Primeira Division table, with the two sides set for a showdown in Lisbon this coming Monday.
Things were looking bleak for PSG when they fell behind early in the second half of Wednesdayâs crunch Champions League encounter with Dortmund.
But salvation came just five minutes later from boy wonder Warren ZaĂŻre-Emery, whose equaliser proved to be enough for Luis Enriqueâs side to creep into the last 16 ahead of Milan.
Juventus have made a real habit of grinding out narrow victories this season, and they did so again with a 1-0 win over reigning Serie A champions Napoli last weekend.
The Bianconeri remain just two points behind league leaders Inter, and it promises to be a fascinating race for the Scudetto.
Their 2-0 win over Heerenveen last week maintained their 10-point lead over Feyenoord at the top of the Eredivisie table, and the Dutch title race looks to be all over bar the shouting.
PSV will be a team many clubs will be keen to avoid in the Champions League last 16.
Bayern Munichâs shock 5-1 defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday means Leverkusen are now the only unbeaten side left in the Bundesliga this season.
But Xabi Alonsoâs side also drew for the second league match running when they were held 1-1 by Stuttgart on Sunday. It leaves them four points ahead at the top, but Bayern do have a game in hand.
Inter are one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in Europe this season and showed just how good they are in their 4-0 rout of Udinese at the weekend.
But they will be frustrated that they couldnât do better than a 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad on Tuesday, which meant they finished second in their Champions League group and could face a tricky tie in the last 16.
Fresh from a statement victory over Manchester City last week, Villa repeated the feat by beating another title contender in Arsenal at the weekend.
Unai Emeryâs side have now won 15 consecutive matches at Villa Park and whether they are in the title race or not, they are a serious team for sure.
Their 1-1 draw with Real Betis at the weekend means Los Blancos were knocked off the top of the LaLiga table and our rankings.
But they got back to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Union Berlin in the Champions League on Tuesday, and will be hoping Sundayâs meeting with Villarreal gets them back on track in the league.
They had to come from behind and needed a late Harvey Elliott winner to overcome 10-man Crystal Palace at the weekend, but Liverpool keep picking up the points and are now unbeaten in their last nine Premier League matches.
It means they sit one point clear at the top of the table and look like a good bet for the title indeed.
One of European footballâs most surprising stories of the season got an incredible new chapter on Sunday, when Girona stunned Catalan rivals Barcelona with a 4-2 win at Camp Nou.
It means they leapfrogged Real Madrid to move top of LaLiga and have now won 13 of the 16 league matches this season, scoring more goals (38) than anyone else in the division.
They canât actually win the title, can they?
