Julian Nagelsmann has had to defend himself against criticisms of his Bayern team’s style.
But they’re getting results, the latest one coming via a second half Leroy Sané winner at Eintracht Frankfurt which saw them open up an eight-point lead in their pursuit of a 10th straight title.
The Premier League leaders issued the perfect response to their unbeaten run ending at the hands of Tottenham.
They edged past Everton in controversial fashion at Goodison Park before continuing their assault on the FA Cup with a routine win over Championship outfit Peterborough on Tuesday night.
Our Power Rankings leaders have another reason to celebrate after bringing the EFL Cup back to Anfield with victory over Chelsea.
They then saw off Norwich in midweek in FA Cup action thanks to Takumi Minamino’s brace. The quadruple dream remains alive …
