Now all 32 teams have played at this Women’s World Cup, it only feels right to sort them, doesn’t it?

Here, in order, is who has impressed us so far in Australia and New Zealand.

OneFootball Videos

32. Panama 🇵🇦

Monday’s defeat to Brazil was, simply, a procession.

31. Zambia 🇿🇲

There were high hopes for Zambia as a surprise package after impressive warm-up results against Switzerland and Germany but Japan brushed them aside.

30. Vietnam 🇻🇳

As expected, Vietnam couldn’t lay a glove on the USWNT.

29. Morocco 🇲🇦

Morocco showed encouraging glimpses but were crushed 6-0 by Germany.

28. Philippines 🇵🇭

The Philippines lost 3-0 on their World Cup bow but it could have been more. In a tough group, it’s unlikely they’ll offer more in their upcoming games.

27. Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Offered very little against Spain but did at least stop the bleeding after they were dominated in the first half.

26. South Korea 🇰🇷

A disappointing start for the Women’s Asian Cup runners-up, as they deservedly lost to Colombia.

25. Norway 🇳🇴

A star-studded Norway really disappointed as co-hosts New Zealand sealed a deserved and historic win in the opening game. They’re now under huge pressure.

24. Ireland 🇮🇪

Ireland put up a superb fight against Australia and offered hope they could yet put together two performances strong enough to qualify.

23. China 🇨🇳

It took a last minute Denmark goal to deny China a point but that could be fatal in a group containing England.

22. Canada 🇨🇦

Much more was expected of Canada, who created next to nothing against Nigeria and missed from the penalty spot to leave Group A wide open.

21. Portugal 🇵🇹

Offered very little as they lost to the Netherlands.

20. Argentina 🇦🇷

A late goal denied Argentina against Italy but it was in the post for a while.

19. France 🇫🇷

A 0-0 draw with Jamaica was disappointing for France but they will be fine if they continue to play as well. A little luck in front of goal is all that’s needed.

18. Jamaica 🇯🇲

That 0-0 was a superb result for Jamaica but they lost star striker Khadija Shaw as she was sent off in added time. A huge blow for the Reggae Girlz.

17. South Africa 🇿🇦

Looked threatening against Sweden and were unfortunate to lose late on.

16. Haiti 🇭🇹

Showed all the signs of being the tournament’s big surprise package as they challenged European champions England and only lost 1-0.

15. Nigeria 🇳🇬

A draw against Canada came against the odds and was well-earned.

14. Australia 🇦🇺

The co-hosts are among the favourites but didn’t exactly convince as, without Sam Kerr, they needed a penalty to beat Ireland.

13. Italy 🇮🇹

A narrow win against Argentina was hard-earned but Italy deserved all three points.

12. Sweden 🇸🇪

Rallied well to come from behind after it looked like their campaign might end with a shock defeat.

11. England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Not as convincing as anticipated as they wound up winning just 1-0 against Haiti.

10. Switzerland 🇨🇭

Recorded a comfortable victory against the Philippines but bigger tests are to come.

9. Netherlands 🇳🇱

The Netherlands’ produced was a dominant display, if just a 1-0 win, against a tricky opponent in Portugal.

8. Denmark 🇩🇰

A tough game and a great result as beating China left Denmark in a superb position.

7. Colombia 🇨🇴

Just a second ever Women’s World Cup win came in impressive fashion against South Korea on Tuesday.

6. New Zealand 🇳🇿

A massive victory and against a really strong side, New Zealand impressed as they beat Norway. Do not write them off.

5. USA 🇺🇸

The USWNT barely had to get out of first gear to seal a convincing win over Vietnam.

4. Spain 🇪🇸

Spain delivered a blistering first half against Costa Rica as they went 3-0 up (and missed a penalty) early on.

3. Brazil 🇧🇷

Brazil dominated Panama, enjoying a perfect start to the tournament on Monday.

2. Japan 🇯🇵

An easy win against a potential banana skin in Zambia, Japan dominated and dazzled with their technical superiority.

1. Germany 🇩🇪

The tournament’s best performance so far, Germany’s 6-0 demolition of Morocco underlined their credentials as contenders.
