The international break is here but there was plenty to sink our teeth into last week!
Here are latest OneFootball Power Rankings âŠ
We still arenât sure where we stand on Real Sociedad. They havenât been winning consistently but they havenât been losing at all. Itâs good enough to sit top of LaLiga, 16 unbeaten in all competitions, but theyâve also drawn seven of their last 13 games.
A sharper attack â theyâve scored 22 on this 16-game run â would turn some of those draws into wins and help them double down on what has been a fine start to the season.
It may not be gathering loads of attention but Rennes are on one hell of a run. After an inconsistent start to the season, theyâre now 10 unbeaten in all competitions with summer signing Kamaldeen Sulemana impressing.
That run, including five wins and two draws in the league, has propelled them to fifth in Ligue 1, just two points from second. And theyâre top of a Europa Conference League group that includes Tottenham.
A return to form has been more than timely for Carlo Ancelottiâs men, who boast by far the most dangerous attack in LaLiga even if there are question marks elsewhere.
Madrid now find themselves in a commanding position in their Champions League group and have won three of their last four in the league, with Karim Benzema and VinĂcius JĂșnior both shining brightly.
Milan continue to disappoint in Europe but remain unbeaten in Serie A.
They needed Inter to miss a penalty to avoid going behind a second time in last weekendâs Derby della Madonnina before improving to head home with a 1-1 draw. Maybe a lack of Europe after Christmas will help them.
Liverpool looked so in form for so long. Now itâs two in a row without winning in the Premier League.
The Reds look superb going forward but have now conceded two or more goals in five of their last 10 games in all competitions.
Are Napoli finally showing some signs of slowing down? Still top and unbeaten in the league, Luciano Spallettiâs men remain formidable defensively but are starting to find goals a little harder to come by and have now drawn two of their last three in Serie A.
A lot of pressure couldnât overcome Verona last weekend but Napoli remain top, joint with Milan on points and seven clear of the next closest sides.
What a win! Having beaten Spurs, knocked Man City out of the EFL Cup and blown Aston Villa away, West Ham recorded their most impressive performance of the season yet to beat Liverpool 3-1 at the weekend.
The Hammers have won nine of their last 11 in all competitions and now sit third in the league after three wins on the bounce. Could they really be in the Champions League this time next year?
To win at Old Trafford is one thing. To do it as Man City and not even look like youâre out of second gear is something else.
Pep Guardiolaâs side pulled United around the park last weekend as they continue to quietly go about their business. Consistency is missing, sure, but City remain irresistible on their day and they enjoy their day more often than not.
A draw at home against Burnley was a bit harsh on Chelsea and theyâll be relieved that Liverpool also dropped points but it still isnât the result anyone had expected.
Chelsea sit top of the table and are five unbeaten in the league, the leagueâs longest run, as well as having more wins, more goals, and fewer goals against than anyone else as we head into the international break.

Twice lately Bayern Munich have faced a side doing well in the Bundesliga. Twice theyâve won with relative ease.
Saturdayâs 2-1 win over previously unbeaten Freiburg wasnât as spectacular as the 5-1 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen but it was the sort of fuss-free win that defines champions.
