Itâs not quite World Cup time yet. Here is our updated list of the top 10 form teams in Europe.
Serie A highlights available in UK and Ireland only
Well hello, Juventus. The season has not been one to remember so far but that could slowly be changing, with Juve winning four on the bounce in Serie A.
The most recent of those, a 2-0 win over Inter, really will ignite some belief that Massimiliano Allegri has cracked the code.
Through in the Champions League and rising in the Bundesliga, RB Leipzig are looking increasingly convincing under Marco Rose.
They are now seven without defeat in the league and won four of their last five, taking them above Borussia Dortmund and up into fifth in the league table.
There has been so much talk about Barcelona being knocked out of the Champions League but just check the LaLiga table and you will see things are not so bad at Camp Nou.
Now top, taking advantage of Real Madridâs blip in form, Barça have won 12 of their 14 league games this season, including each of the last five, and conceded just five times. They are quietly building something very big.
A big week for Manchester City saw them clinch a (very) late winner against Fulham before rotating and knocking Chelsea out of the EFL Cup.
The return of Erling Haaland is a big boost and City continue to look imperious whenever they are playing anywhere but Anfield.
Newcastle, also imperious. A big win at Southampton at the weekend was the end of Ralph HasenhĂźttl and yet more evidence that the Magpies have what it takes to fight for a top four spot in the Premier League.
With other results going their way â Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham all lost â it was a big weekend and followed up by progression in the EFL Cup.
Still top of the league in Portugal, still the best attack and best defence in the league, still unbeaten. Roger Schmidt is smashing it.
With Arsenal still top of the Premier League, Mikel Arteta chose huge rotation and wouldnât have been too disappointed to lose in the EFL Cup on Wednesday.
The Gunners have bigger fish to fry and a win at Wolves on Saturday would see them top of the Premier League at Christmas after last Sundayâs impressively controlled 1-0 victory away at Chelsea.
Bayern Munich are inevitable. Top of the Bundesliga again now after a fair while looking upwards at Union Berlin, Bayern have an absurd 28 goals in their last seven Bundesliga games and have won nine in a row in all competitions since a draw at Dortmund in October.
They look unstoppable.
No Messi? No problem. PSG seem to have given the Argentine a little time off ahead of the World Cup but still had enough to win a tricky game at Lorient at the weekend and remain unbeaten for the season so far.

The weekend provided Napoli with a huge test and they aced it. Travelling to second-place Atalanta without star winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, they went a goal down only to come from behind to win.
Followed up by a 2-0 win over Empoli, a 10th Serie A success in a row, they are now eight points clear and flying high.
