The 2024-25 Premier League campaign hasn’t even started and Manchester United are already dealing with several injury issues.

New arrival Leny Yoro picked up a knock in the previous friendly against Arsenal and is set to be out for three months.

Rasmus Hojlund suffered an injury in the same match, and he will also be out for six weeks.

United suffered another big injury scare when Marcus Rashford was forced off in their 3-2 victory over Real Betis in San Diego.

Rashford couldn’t continue after going down with a problem and he was replaced by Hannibal Mejbri after the hour mark.

The Manchester Evening News say the winger looked to be suffering with his ankle.

Rashford endured a disappointing 2023-24 campaign, scoring only seven goals in 26 Premier League starts.

He has started the 2024 pre-season well but has suffered an injury blow before the start of the regular season.

The Red Devils will hope the England international’s injury is not too serious and he returns soon.

United conceded an early goal against Betis but assumed control of the match after Rashford converted his penalty. Diallo and Casemiro added two more goals.

Diego Llorente pulled one back but United held on to win 3-2 at the Snapdragon Stadium.
