Reports have suggested that boss Ange Postecoglou is under pressure from those poor results, but a the latest update from Tottenham journalist Alasdair Gold states that the 59-year-old is safe for now.

Spurs have been ravaged by injury this season, and it's for that reason that Gold suggests that Postecoglou retains the full backing of the club, with the wheels in motion to put in 'the right structures and people' around the boss to help support him in his current predicament.

Despite poor league form, Spurs are still competing for both the League Cup and the FA Cup, giving some hope that the team can end the season with something to show for their efforts.
