Pompey announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website over the weekend.
Hutchings joins Portsmouth on a free transfer after leaving former club Manchester City at the end of last season. The youngster spent three years with The Cityzens after joining the club from neighbours Manchester United.
In her time at The Joie Stadium, Hutchings made one senior appearance for Manchester City which came in the 2022/2023 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup. The 19-year-old has spent time furthering her development at Barclays Women’s Championship club Blackburn Rovers in the last two seasons.
After adding Hutchings to his squad, Portsmouth boss Jay Sadler said “I’m extremely pleased to get this deal over the line. Annie is a very talented individual who will add quality and energy to the team.
“She comes with pedigree, having been schooled at one of the best academies in the women’s game. In addition to graduating through the England youth pathway.
“Her technical proficiency and game understanding enables her to cover several positions, adding further depth and competition to the group.
“She’s settled in well over the last few days, and I firmly believe Annie has a bright future ahead of herself.”
Hutchings is Portsmouth’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
