Tottenham Hotspur entertained Nottingham Forest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 15th minute when Murillo scored an unfortunate own goal. Chris Wood equalised for the visitors just 12 minutes later as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.

Micky van de Ven gave his team the lead in the 52nd minute before Pedro Porro killed the game off just six minutes later. The contest finished with Angelos Postecoglu’s men earning an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and was replaced at half-time.

Maddison was a real menace in the final third but lacked quality in front of goal.
