Paul Pogba has officially re-joined Juventus on a free transfer.
After six up and down years at Manchester United, the France international has returned to the club where he previously evolved into one of the world’s best midfielders.
Pogba first signed for Juventus in the summer of 2012 and he quickly became a key figure for the Serie A giant, helping the team win eight trophies.
The 29-year-old will be hoping for a similar level of success in Turin this time around, particularly with the World Cup coming up later in the year.
But despite failing to live up to expectation at United, Pogba is still among the most valuable midfielders in the world.
As a result of that, he finishes high on Transfermarkt‘s updated list featuring the 27 most valuable free transfers in football history.
Spoiler alert, a very familiar face sits in top spot…

But he chose to stay in the French capital, so it’s his superstar teammate in first place – for now at least…
