“There are no words to describe the emotion – all I can do is cry again! What can I tell you? It is impossible to describe,” he told Spurs’ official website.

“All of our fans and players feel the same as me. It was a magic moment. You’ll always have ups and downs. Painful times and happy times.

“We’ll give our best to win the trophy but the journey to get there was amazing and magic.”

“It is still a very emotional moment. It was unbelievable, one of the greatest moments in my career as a player or manager,” added Pochettino.

“I’ll always remember that. It was unreal what we achieved there. To beat a team like that who were built to win the Champions League and everything else…

“Over two legs we showed we could beat them and it will go down in history. I’m so grateful for having that moment.”
